wgrib (v1.8.0.9m1  (8-22-05)) compiled for windows using the cygwin version of gcc.


To install:

    Make sure the file wgrib.exe and cygwin1.dll are on your path.

To run:

   1) open a prompt window
   2) type: wgrib (options)

Note:

   This version of wgrib may have issues with file names that
have two or more periods in the file name.  Some people
have had problems (other have not).  Sorry I don't have
any more details.

Background: Some version of windows (old) would not allow two 
periods in the filename.
