Value of g


Someone asked if g (gravitational constant) was 9.8 in all the code.


I did a grep on 9.8 on most of the source code (execpt the
various quality control).  g=9.8 is used everywhere (model,
sgb, pgb, ssi, cycle) except in two programs which I happened
to write.  Anyways, g=9.81 m/s/s were used in,

    grib_mass_wt: computes mass weight variables in isentropic coordinates
       and
    grib_prs: computes pressure levels of isentropic coordinates
