  Content Summary: The Climate Prediction Center undertakes a weekly analysis over Africa for Food Security purposes in support of the United States Angency for International Development's (USAID) Famine Early Warning System Network (FEWS NET). drought, mid_drought, short_dryness, flood, freeze, (other) Humanitarian (concern), some_improvement, improvment, status, extreme_event and ENSO_status are all based on food security in Africa and not exclusively climate variability.
