This is a readme file for the Africa Rainfall Climatology Version2 (ARC2)
seasonal data available on CPC's our ftp server

This directory contains daily, binary data of seasonal ARC2 analyses for 
the six defined Africa seasonal time periods currently being monitoried by 
CPC for USAID/FEWS-NET actitivies.  Data will be updated and posted on a
daily basis for all seasons both active and inactive. Map products of this 
data may be found under 'Seasonal ARC2 Products' at:

Below is a list of Africa Season Domains and respective dimensions for 
file size at a 0.1 resolution. For additional information on ARC2 file 
format access and for complete coverage over Africa, please review the 
"ARC2_readme.txt" file located at the top of the ftp directory.

(As of June, 2013 only anomaly analyses are being provided)
