  Content Summary: The Climate Prediction Center undertakes a weekly analysis over Central America for Food Security purposes in support of the United States Angency for International Development's (USAID) Mesoamerican Food Security Early Warning System (MFEWS). cold, extreme_event, drought, mid_dry, shortdry, flood, wildfires are all based on food security in Central America and not exclusively climate variability.
